If you have smaller breasts;

• A strapless dress is flattering to stomachs and wider shoulders but can make small breasts look smaller. Help this by choosing;
  • An  underwired and/or padded bra
  • Inserts or additional padding
  • A shaped and uplifting corset or basque
  • Even if your dress has a built-in corset, think about an additional bra to give you even more lift and definition
  • A nipped in waist enhances a smaller bust.

  
  

If you have larger breasts;

• Do not compromise on support.  Support = Shape
• Even if your dress has a built-in corset, think about an additional bra to give you even more support and definition.
• A corset can nip in your waist which is perfect to create the dramatic, classic lines and curves between breast and small waist.
• Make sure the lingerie you choose emphasises your figure as a whole, not just your breasts.

For Backless, Low-Back or Low-Fronted Dresses

• Lingerie tape is vital for a daring dress to keep everything in place. This can be used subtly even with low back and strapless bras.
• As backless or plunges lines DO need straps you have the advantage that your lingerie can have them too.  Thin ‘spaghetti’ straps or transparent straps can be perfect

Generally:

• Corsets can be very uncomfortable for wedding dresses with built-in bones.
• If your dress is figure-hugging go for support and structure over romantic but loose lace – don’t worry we can equip you with sexy alternatives for your going away outfits so he will never know…
• Square necklines cry out for balcony bras and corsets, providing the romantic cleavage and heaving bosom that is straight out of a period drama.
